Sandi Durell's New Songwriter Series.

New Standards in the Making!

Sandi Durell didn't do her usual outstanding job of putting the Annual New Songwriters show together...she surpassed herself!  But we were not surprised.  Every year I think she can't do better than the previous one, and (of course) she just keeps making each show better!

The program featured songs by Ervin Drake, Brian Gari, Ray Jessel, Enid Levine, Michael Colby, Jack Urbont, Gerald Jay Markoe, Nicholas Levin, Dottie Burman, Rick Cummins, Nina Murano, Ed Alstrom, Robyn McCorquodale, Steven Lutvak and Robert L. Freedman.  The program showcased songwriters and performers from the worlds of cabaret & Broadway.  The performers were Ervin Drake, Steven Lutvak, Dottie Burman, Anita Hollander, Robyn McCorquodale, Brian Gari, Kristopher McDowell, Enid, and Donna Coney Island.  They were accompanied by Steven Silverstein, Jon Delfin and Michael Sheetz...and sometimes by themselves!
